The Little Red River
30 miles of cold, pristine tailwater coursing through the Ozarks, producing trophy brown and rainbow trout 365 days a year.
Where river legends are made.
On May 9, 1992, Howard "Rip" Collins hooked a 40 lb 4 oz German brown trout in the Little Red River, setting a world record that stood for nearly two decades. The river maintains an optimal 48°F water temperature year-round due to the bottom-release waters from Greers Ferry Dam, making it one of the top five trout fisheries in North America.
